About Las Calinas
Las Calinas offers a nice mix of brand new and existing homes, conveniently located just south of Nocatee, and north of downtown St. Augustine. No CDD Fee
One of the things that makes Las Calinas stand apart from some of the larger, newer communities in the area, however is that residents pay no CDD fee. CDD stands for Community Development District, and it’s simply a way for new communities to finance/support the infrastructure for the development of the community. It’s paid annually with your tax bill, and consists of the bond portion (which can eventually be paid off) and the operations & maintenance portion (which will be ongoing). In Las Calinas, residents don’t pay CDD fees, only homeowner’s association fees.
