If you bought a home in Florida in 2018, you likely qualify for a homestead exemption of up to $50,000. That means that your property tax will be based on your home’s assessed value, minus the amount of your exemption (up to $50,000). That can mean big savings.[Read more…]
David Weekley Homes offering single-family courtyard homes, as well as townhomes, in Tidal Pointe community near I-295 and JTB.
It’s the type of setting you’d expect to find in more urban environments. Single-family homes and townhomes, apartments, shopping, dining and businesses, all clustered together in a convenient location. And, as Jacksonville, and the Southside, continues to grow, it may be something we’ll see more of in the future. But for now, Weekley’s “Central Living” concept is among the first of its kind in the Jacksonville area.

We looked at total number of homes sold, lowest sale price, highest sale price and average number of days on market. We then dug into a few specific neighborhoods within Nocatee to get a more granular look.

This includes condos, town homes and single-family homes, as well as some new construction (remember, builders don’t necessarily report all sales) and existing home sales. The lowest sale price was $182,500, and the highest was $1,125,000. Average number of days on market was 69 days.[Read more…]
